KYIV, Feb 5 – Sugar exports in the 2020/2021 agricultural year will fall compared to the 2019/2020 agri-year by 51%, soybeans – by 37.6%, rapeseed – by 20%, vegetable oils – by 23.4%, while sunflower will triple. The balances of supply and demand were announced by the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture on Thursday.
According to the balances, sugar production in Ukraine in 2020/2021 agri-year will decrease compared to 2019/2020 agri-year 22.9%, to 1.15 million tons, of which 1.11 million tons were already produced in September-December.
