KYIV, Jan 11 – The International Monetary Fund on Monday restarted negotiations with the Ukrainian government to see if it complies with reform commitments before deciding on whether to release remaining parts of $5 billion loan.

The IMF’s Europe Office team is working with government officials remotely via a computer link from Washington, which is likely to take twice as much time as similar reviews in the past.
