KYIV, Dec 22 - The share of alternative energy in the overall structure of electricity generation in the country by the end of 2020 may increase by 2.1%, to 13%, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving predicts.

"Due to the introduction of about 1.5 GW of renewable energy facilities in 2020, it is predicted that the share of renewable energy in electricity consumption in 2020 will exceed the goal of the National Renewable Energy Action Plan by 2% and will be about 13%," it said.
