KYIV, Dec 18 – Despite the quarantine restrictions due to coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, Ukrainians actively bought household appliances and electronics this year at Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, which led to a 28% increase in sales compared to last year and their new record of UAH 6.6 billion, as evidenced by research data from GfK Ukraine.
"Sales during the two-week sales period accounted for 10% of electronics sales in 2020," the company said in a press release.
According to it, in terms of volume, equipment was sold by 8.5% more, to 966,000 units.
