KIEV, Sept. 22 ??“ The Economy Ministry has started an investigation into discrimination by the European Commission against Ukraine in setting the anti-dumping duties on seamless pipes supplies from Ukraine.

According to an official government announcement in Thursday??™s Uriadovy Kurier newspaper, the was open on the grounds of a statement by the Dnipropetrovsk-based Ukrtruboprom pipe producers' association, sent to the Economy Ministry on July 13. The association said then that the EC violated the rights and interests of the Ukrainian exporters during a European Union anti-duping investigation into exports of Russian-, Romanian-, Croatian- and Ukrainian-produced seamless pipes.
