KYIV, Oct 16 – The state-owned PrivatBank (Kyiv) is completely blocked from managing the Latvian subsidiary PrivatBank, in which it owns 46.54%, and intends to withdraw from the shareholders, Hanna Samarina, a board member of PrivatBank, told Interfax-Ukraine.
"We still intend to legally withdraw from the shareholders, as in fact we are completely blocked from the management of the company, our recommendations are not taken into account by the management, and our approaches to improving the situation in the company are not supported by other shareholders. If the position of the other participants does not change, our intention will remain the same," she said.
