KYIV, Oct 16 – Ukraine does not meet the criteria established by the Council of Europe for travelers in the European region, Deputy Minister of Health, Chief State Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko said during a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
"The Council of Europe has adopted uniform approaches and indicators for travelers between the countries of the European region. In general, these approaches reflect the indicators that are used in Ukraine to determine the levels of epidemic danger. Key indicators are testing coverage, incidence (rate) and the number of positive results among the PCR studies. Based on the indicators, 'green,' 'yellow' and 'red' levels of epidemic danger are formed. And there is also 'gray' level for countries that do not meet the coverage of testing," he said.
