KYIV, Oct 7 – Ukraine will purchase only effective vaccines that have passed all stages of clinical trials, negotiations are underway with international companies, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said.

"Clinical trials of 41 candidate vaccines against [coronavirus] COVID-19 are currently underway abroad, of which ten are at the final stage of clinical trials. We are now actively negotiating the purchase of vaccines with international companies," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
