KYIV, Sept 9 - Ukrhydroenergo, together with USAID and the World Bank, plan to build solar storage batteries with a capacity of 212 MW, for which a feasibility study of the project must be developed by the end of the year, CEO of the company Ihor Syrota said.
"We have seen such a mix abroad, when solar power plants, storage batteries, hydroelectric power plants and pumped storage power plants are operating. We want to implement such a project in our country in order to see in practice how it works," he said at a visiting meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on energy, housing and utilities services.
