KYIV, Sept 9 – The government seeks to launch structural reform of Ukrzaliznytsia, the state railway company, before the end of the year, according to the government’s 2020 priorities plan.

The plan calls for reforms in management of infrastructure, freight, and passenger traffic.

By the end of the year, it is also planned to purchase at least 28 passenger cars and three diesel trains for Ukrzaliznytsia, overhaul and modernize 100 locomotives.
