BRUSSELS, Aug 12 – The European Union will provide macro-financial assistance of EUR 3 billion to neighboring partner countries to mitigate the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the European Commission reported on Tuesday.
"These 'crisis MFA programs' will be provided on favorable terms on the basis of signed Memorandums of Understanding outlining concrete reform commitments," Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President for an Economy, said.
