KYIV, Aug 6 – Registrations of electric cars (used and new) in Ukraine in July 2020 decreased by 6% compared to July of the previous year and by 3% from June of the current year, to 799 units (766 cars and 33 commercial vehicles), Ukrautoprom reports.

Meanwhile, the share of used cars in the total number of electric cars was 92%, and commercial vehicles 100%.

The association draws attention to the fact that the decline in the registration of electric cars occurred on the background of the general growth of the car market in July and believes that the negative dynamics was triggered by confusion in the legislation due to changes in the system of goods codification.
