KYIV, Aug 5 – The volume of merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions in Ukraine in January-June 2020 decreased by 78% on the year to $159 million, which is the lowest result since 2015, the research reports, the results of which are posted on KPMG's website.
According to these results, the total number of M&A deals in the first half of 2020 decreased by 43%, to 25, which according to KPMG estimates is due to global economic instability caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
