KYIV, Aug 4 – The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) in its July report has improved the forecast for the grain and oilseeds output to 100 million metric tons in 2020-2021 marketing season, up from 97.1 million mt the previous month.
Ukraine’s exports of grain and oilseed are now projected at 61 million mt in 2020-2021, up from 58.2 million mt, the UGA said.
The increase in crop and export forecasts was due to an improved forecast for the harvest of barley and corn, the harvest of which could set a new all-time record for Ukraine, both in production and export.
