KYIV, April 7 – The laboratory testing market in Ukraine may shrink 25-30% on the year to EUR 150 million in 2020 due to the coronavirus quarantine and ensuing economic turmoil, Synevo, which operates largest lab chain, reported.
"This year will be the first in the past seven years, when the market will not only stop growing, but may decrease by 25-30%. If last year the private laboratory diagnostics market was estimated at EUR 190 million, then this year it may reduce to EUR 150 million, and with prolonged quarantine and subsequent serious problems in the economy – even more," the company reported.
