KYIV, April 6 – Ukraine will seek to roll over the payment of $1 billion Eurobond due in May amid mounting stress on the economy caused by expanding coronavirus pandemic, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.

Marchenko assured investors that Ukraine has enough liquidity to redeem the debt, which was guaranteed by the U.S. government, but the ongoing pandemic escalates healthcare costs.
