KYIV, April 1 – The Business Expectations Index, calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), fell by 5.4 points in March, to 45.8 points, which is below the neutral value of 50 points and indicates the prevalence of pessimistic business expectations.
"Businesses have significantly worsened expectations regarding the economic results of their activities against the backdrop of anti-epidemic restrictions introduced in the country," the NBU said.
