KYIV, Feb 18 – Subsidiary of Germany's HHLA International GmbH, Container Terminal Odesa (CTO) will install four container cranes made by LIEBHERR at a new warehouse area of the Quarantine Mole of the Odesa maritime merchandise port, according to a posting on the website of the authority of the port.
"The amount of investment in the acquisition of new equipment exceeded EUR 6 million. The need for these investments is due to the annual growth in the volume of container handling by our company. The new LIEBHERR cranes have a number of technical advantages aimed at lowering operating costs, as well as being more environmentally friendly, due to more modern engines," CTO Director General Anastas Kokkin said.
