KYIV, Feb 18 – The government will aim to create at least 200,000 new jobs in Ukraine by the end of the year and to reduce time for anyone searching for a job to two months, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said.
"Every fifth Ukrainian works off the books today. Most often in agriculture, wholesale and retail trade, construction, transportation and courier services. These employees are unprotected. In fact they are deprived of any rights in relations with their employers," he said, adding that a legal labor market is not only payment of taxes to the budget, but also creation of civilized labor conditions for people.
