KYIV, Feb 18 – Ukrposhta, the state-owned postal service, plans to boost investment program 19 times to UAH 1.6 billion in 2020, Ukrposhta CEO Igor Smelyansky said.
Ukrposhta plans to open 80 new post offices in cities with a population of more than 20,000 people; refresh 350 post offices; open 40 mini-format offices in shopping centers; carry out 30 movements of post offices, which require a significant investment for repairs.
Ukrposhta also plans to purchase 700 vehicles, create 200 extra operating windows in existing post offices, which will expand its capacity.
