KYIV, Feb 4 – The Business Expectations Index, which characterizes the improvement (from 50 to 100) or worsening (from 50 to 0) of expectations compared to the previous month, in January 2020 decreased by 8.3 points, to the level of 40.3, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said on Facebook.
"Businesses assessed the results of activities more pessimistic than in December. This is due to the traditional decline in business activity at the beginning of the year, in particular due to holidays and a reduction in the number of working days," the report says.
