KYIV, Jan 17 – Ukrainian businesses forecast inflation in 12 months at 7%, which is 0.1 percentage point (p.p.) worse than expected a quarter earlier.

According to the results of a regular survey of business expectations of enterprises in the fourth quarter of 2019, conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), businesses improved expectations of the value of the national currency over the next 12 months to UAH 27.43/$1 from UAH 27.96/$ 1 a quarter earlier. At the same time, almost 44.1% of companies expect that the rate will not exceed UAH 27/$1.
