KYIV, Jan 2 – The national budget of Ukraine for 2019 saw a deficit of UAH 72.4 billion, or 1.8% of GDP, the Ministry of Finance has reported, with reference to recent data from the State Treasury Service of Ukraine.

"According to the State Treasury Service, the total deficit was less than the planned one and amounted to UAH 72.4 billion (which was estimated to be approximately 1.8% of GDP). In particular, the general budget fund deficit was within the framework of the target at UAH 69 billion," according to the report.
