KYIV, Dec 10 – Ukraine’s consumer prices rose 0.1% on the month in November, slowing down from 0.7% hike in October and 1.4% in November 2018, the State Statistics Service reported Tuesday.
On an annual basis, consumer prices rose 5.1% in November, down from 6.5% in October and 7.5% in September, showing that the central bank has been successfully keeping inflation under control.
In the consumer market, food and non-alcoholic beverage prices in November fell by 0.2%. Prices for fruits fell most of all (by 4.4%). Prices for poultry, sugar, pork, soft drinks, fish, and sunflower oil reduced by 2.8-0.3%.
