KYIV, Nov 14 – Parliament plans to remove economic activities on operations with scrap ferrous metal from the shadow, which would allow injecting around UAH 900 million of additional taxes and duties to the national budget.
Deputy Chairman of the parliamentary committee for economic development Dmytro Kysylevsky told Interfax-Ukraine, commenting on bill No. 2426 registered on November 12, 2019 amending some Ukrainian laws regarding removal of the scrap metal market and transactions with scrap metal from the shadows, that 80% of the Ukrainian scrap metal market is in the shadows.
