BRUSSELS, Nov 6 – Kyiv and Brussels discussed the state of reforms in Ukraine, the speed and effectiveness of which "should go hand in hand with an inclusive legislative process," reads the message of Maja Kkocijancic, the spokesperson for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, which was posted following the 5th European Union-Ukraine Association Committee that took place in Brussels on November 5, 2019.
"The EU welcomed the renewed and ambitious drive for reforms, which reflects the expectations of the Ukrainian citizens, notably in the areas of the rule of law and the fight against corruption, as well as economic issues, which directly impact daily life in Ukraine. The EU acknowledged the expectation to achieve swift results, but recalled that speed and efficiency should go hand in hand with an inclusive legislative process," it said.
