KYIV, Oct 9 – Ukraine in 2019 lost two positions in the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and fell to the 85th place among 141 countries.
According to the WEF annual report, the main regression was recorded in the sphere of financial systems, in which the rating of Ukraine dropped by 19 positions, to the 136th place and in the healthcare sector by nine positions, to the 101st place.
The figure of ICT adoption also declined slightly from the 77th to the 78th place, macroeconomic stability from the 131st to the 133rd place, and innovation capability from the 58th to 60th place.
