KYIV, Oct 4 – Citi analysts forecast the acceleration of growth of the Ukrainian economy this year and next year to 3.4% and 3.5% respectively compared with 3.3% last year and 2.5% in the year before.
The bank's analytical report, released at the end of September, notes that after the victory of Volodymyr Zelensky and his party Servant of the People in the presidential and parliamentary elections, a sense of cautious optimism reigns in Kyiv, and real efforts are being made to take advantage of the unique window of opportunity and quickly move forward with the key legislative initiatives.
