KYIV, July 11 – The Cabinet of Ministers at a Wednesday meeting approved a merger of state-owned uranium producer Skhidny Mining to the national nuclear power generating company Energoatom.

The merger was required to qualify for a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Andriy Gerus, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s representative in the Cabinet of Ministers, said.
