KYIV, July 3 – Ukraine and Canada are taking steps towards a visa-free regime, intend to sign an agreement on youth mobility, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
"In the coming months, we plan to conclude a Ukrainian-Canadian agreement on youth mobility, which will facilitate youth exchanges. I would very much like Ukrainian youth to gain knowledge and experience here [in Canada]. Now it's not so easy to get a Canadian visa, you know, it is as difficult as getting tickets for the NHL match," he said in Toronto on Tuesday at a joint briefing with Justin Trudeau after meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister.
