KYIV, June 20 – Ukraine's gross external debt dropped 0.24% in January through March to $114.43 billion as of April 1, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported on Thursday.
According to the NBU, in the government sector, debt increased by $1.02 billion, or 2.5%, to $41.14 billion, while the central bank reduced it by $0.19 billion, or 2.4%, to $7.74 billion
The banks reduced their debt even more – by $0.64 billion, or 11%, to $5.16 billion.
