KYIV, April 15 – The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has said the average presence of the Ukrainian language on radio and television broadcasts has reached 92%.
Council member Serhiy Kostynsky made the announcement on Facebook.
"Popular Russian-speaking journalists finally broadcast in Ukrainian. The news is almost entirely Ukrainian. Films are voiced or duplicated in Ukrainian. All this would have been impossible if the state had not introduced language quotas on television two years ago," he said.
