KYIV, April 4 – Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) is adjusting the summer schedule in terms of reducing the number of flights and flight intensity during summer due to the delayed supply of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, the press service of the airline said.
"The main reason for the changes was the delay in delivery of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which were supposed to start operating on UIA regular flights from mid-April of this year. However, due to the fact that the operation of this type of aircraft was suspended until the investigation is completed, the delivery of three Boeing 737 MAX airplanes for UIA is postponed," the airline said.
