KYIV, April 2 – Given Volodymyr Zelensky's larger-than-expected margin of victory over Petro Poroshenko, the base case for Zelensky to prevail in the run-off vote in three weeks' time has now strengthened somewhat, but Zelensky's ability to make inroads into parliament will be critical in determining his effectiveness in governing, Goldman Sachs said in a report.
"If elected president on April 21, Mr. Zelensky's ability to make inroads into parliament with his newly-formed Servant of the People party and to forge alliances with other parties will be critical in determining his effectiveness in governing," the bank said.
