KYIV, April 1 – The European Business Association (EBA) has called on the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the State Fiscal Service to abolish the rules of trade in alcoholic drinks as they are outdated, contain unrealistic or already canceled standards, according to a press release of the association.
"The rules are developed on the basis of different laws and regulations. Therefore, it is logical that when changes are made to different regulations, they must be transferred to the rules. Unfortunately, or fortunately, such changes did not occur structurally. Therefore, at present, trade rules contain a bit of the past, a little bit of non-existent and a very small amount of really important norms for trade," Manager of the EBA Committee on the Import and Trade of Alcoholic Beverages Christina Linichenko said.
