KYIV, April 1 – Ukrainian stock and bond markets reacted positively to the news of comedian Volodymyr Zelenskiy winning the first round of presidential election and elimination of populist former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko from the runoff vote.
Tymoshenko was the biggest concerns for market players for her posing a risk to the current program of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF, Serhiy Fursa, the specialist of debt securities sales at Dragon Capital investment group, said.
