KYIV, March 29 – The deficit of Ukraine's balance of payment expanded 3.6-fold in February 2019 compared with the previous month, to $248 million, according to preliminary data posted on the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on its website.

The central bank reminded that last year in February the surplus of the balance of payments was $253 million.

As a result, the balance of payments deficit increased 61.2% over the same period last year, to $316 million.
