KIEV, July 19 ??“ The Kiev city authorities will probably reject a request from IKEA, the world??™s largest furniture retailer, for a land plot in the city that may further postpone construction of a $400 million complex.

Kiev City Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky said the authorities failed to come to an agreement with IKEA, which had apparently refused to move the complex to a nearby area.
