KYIV, March 21 – State enterprise Nuclear Fuel plans to increase uranium ore production at Novokostiantynivska mine (Kirovohrad region) by 2.5 times, to 500,000 tons per year, which, in turn, will allow doubling production of uranium oxide by 2021, to 701 tons/year, the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has reported.
These goals are embedded in the investment project developed by Nuclear Fuel, which was supported by a majority vote at a meeting of the Energy Ministry's commission for the selection of investment projects.
