KYIV, March 1 – The international company EuroCape New Energy intends in 2019 to install the first wind turbines with a capacity of 98 MW under the project of construction of a large wind power plant in Zaporizhia region, which has been implemented since 2009, EuroCape New Energy head for emerging markets Adrien Fouchet has told journalists on the sidelines of the Ukrainian Energy Forum.
At the same time, he noted that the environmental impact assessment is currently being completed.
Turbines for the station will be supplied by General Electric. As expected, shipments will begin in April. The contractor will be a Polish consortium led by Electro.
