KYIV, Feb, 15 – Ukrainian banks' activity in 2018 was focused on services provided to individuals, according to the February 2019 Banking Sector Survey posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
Thus, net hryvnia loans issued to individuals increased by 6.7% in the fourth quarter of 2018, while the growth in the entire past year was 34.1%. The highest growth rates were recorded at private banks (54.2% up y-o-y) and state-owned banks (49% up year-over-year).
