KYIV, Feb 8 – Five strategic priorities in the economy for the coming five years would bring funds to improve people's living standards – these are agricultural, transport, tourism, high-tech and IT sectors, according to presidential candidate and incumbent head of state Petro Poroshenko said.
"Five strategic priorities will give a powerful impetus to our economy. They can attract billions of U.S. dollars in investments. Their implementation will create hundreds of thousands of jobs with decent wages, create jobs in related industries, increase demand and push development for dozens of thousands of small businesses. This will reduce the level of labor migration of Ukrainians, will create a motivation to work in Ukraine," Poroshenko said in his presidential candidate program posted on Friday on the website of the Central Election Commission.
