KYIV, Jan 31 – Ukrainian agricultural exports to the EU countries in 2018 increased by 8.7% compared to the same period last year, to $6.3 billion.
According to the report on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, traditionally the top five trade partners of Ukraine in the field of agriculture among the EU countries included the Netherlands, to which Ukrainian goods worth $1.2 billion were exported last year, Spain with $1.04 million, Italy with $737.9 million, Germany with $667.4 million, and Poland with $656.7 million.
According to the ministry, the leaders of Ukrainian agrarian exports to the EU markets remain grains ($2.2 billion), oilseeds ($1.1 billion), and vegetable oils ($1.1 billion).
