KYIV, Jan 25 – Unit 10 of the Prydniprovska thermal power plant (TPP) will be launched after its switch to long-flame coal on February 28, 2019.

"We were forced to postpone the launch of unit 10 of DTEK Prydniprovska TPP with a new electrostatic precipitator, since its transfer to long-flame coal and the construction of a new modern electrostatic precipitator is in fact a difficult process," Iryna Verbitska, head of the environmental safety department of DTEK Energy, wrote on her Facebook page, commenting on the postponement of the launch of the unit, originally planned for December 2018.
