KYIV, Jan 21 – Ukraine since the beginning of the period of gas taking from the underground gas storage facilities (UGS), which started on November 7, 2018, and until January 19, 2019 had reduced its reserves by 29.1% (by 5.001 billion cubic meters), to 12.194 billion cubic meters, according to data from Ukrtransgaz.
According to Interfax-Ukraine calculations, on November 7-30 Ukraine took 1.074 billion cubic meters of gas from UGS (44.73 cubic meters/day), on December 1-31 some 2.246 billion cubic meters of gas (72.45 million cubic meters per day), on January 1-19 some 1.680 billion cubic meters (88.44 million cubic meters), in particular on January 19 some 88.36 million cubic meters.
