KYIV, Jan 16 – Turboatom, the maker of turbines for nuclear power plants, and four fossil burning power plants, Kherson, Dniprovska, Kryvy Rih and Severodonetsk, will be removed from the 2019 list privatization, an official said.

Oleksandr Saenko, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, led a government at which the decision was made.

The decision comes a week after the International Monetary Fund has specifically told Ukraine to accelerate privatization and sell more state assets this year to spur economic growth.
