KYIV, Jan 15 — Yuliya Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivschyna party, has said that immediately upon her victory in the presidential elections she will send a bill to the parliament to change the regulations governing natural gas distribution to household in Ukraine so that Ukrainians would pay half the current price for natural gas, which will greatly help lower their expenditure on utilities.
Speaking at a live show on the ICTV channel on January 14, she said that from the time Ukraine gained independence in 1991 until 2014, there was an order according to which natural gas extracted in Ukraine was provided to the needs of the population "at Ukrainian prices," the party press service quoted Tymoshenko as saying.
