KYIV, Dec 7 - Significant investments made by DTEK Energy Holding the in previous years helped it benefit in the period of the last increase in prices for energy resources in the world market, DTEK CEO Maksym Tymchenko said.
"We have increased production [of coal] this year by more than 1.5 million tons. World coal prices since 2016 have risen from $40 to $100 [per ton], gas prices from $250 to $330 [per 1,000 cubic meters] ... The global increase in energy prices naturally influences the financial results of the company operating in this industry," he said on the air of Ukraina TV Channel.
