KYIV, Dec 3 - Ukraine since the beginning of the period of gas taking from underground gas storage facilities (UGS), which started on November 7, 2018, and as of December 1 had reduced its reserves by 1.143 billion cubic meters, from 17.195 billion cubic meters to 16.052 billion cubic meters, according to data from JSC Ukrtransgaz.
According to the calculations of Interfax-Ukraine, from November 28 to December 1 gas taking from storage facilities due to the intensified frost amounted to 298.19 million cubic meters or a little more than a quarter of the total taking from the beginning of the season. The maximum daily taking was recorded on December 1 at 78.95 million cubic meters.
