KYIV, Nov 23 - The National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) intends from January 1, 2019 to increase the weighted average tariff of Ukrenergo by 17.9% compared to the current tariff of 2018, from 4.969 kopecks per kWh to 5.859 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT).

Ukrenergo offered to approve a weighted average tariff of 17.034 kopecks/kWh.

According to the draft resolution approved by the commission at a meeting on November 23, the tariff of Ukrenergo for the first quarter of 2019 could reach 4.186 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), the second quarter 7.131 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), the third quarter some 5.644 kopecks/kWh (excluding VAT), and for the fourth quarter 6.703 kopecks/kWh (without VAT).
